My Mission
I am here to tell you that if a Woman who grew up in a tiny regional desert town in Western Australia can become a Winter Olympian, we can all kick imposter-syndrome in the face!
Not unlike many athletes, I struggled for most of my life with perfectionistic behaviours. While this desire drove me to building a wide range of skill across many areas, it also developed a range of personal problems such as performance anxiety, emotional instability under pressure, confused self-worth, rigid thinking, obsessiveness and so on. These issues stood in the way of my progress and I am forever grateful that as a result, lead me down a path of self-discovery and gave me an insatiable desire to continue to learn and grow. I have been privileged to be coached and mentored both personally and professionally by some exceptional human beings. I am passionate about seeing others grow and experience their own self-determined definitions of success.
Through my training and understanding of modern psychology, I am now extremely fortunate to enjoy living in a way that aligns with my truest nature and values, and I feel privileged to work with others to find the same satisfaction in their lives.
Hi, I'm Kiara
Thanks for checking out how I can help you in getting what you want!
I absolutely love the transformational work that I do with people just like you, people striving toward the most optimal versions of themselves.
To understand a little bit of my background and why you will benefit from our work together:
I grew up in a tiny remote desert country town in Western Australia with a population of less than 2000 people. I had to move away from my parents for high school, and further away from my family for university. I did not train or compete in any sport outside of school activities until 21 years old when I started athletics.
Within 4 years I qualified for the Commonwealth games in the multidisciplinary seven-event heptathlon, unfortunately being overlooked for selection. I moved to Melbourne for greater exposure and opportunities in sport, only to be caught up in the world’s harshest lockdowns within 8 months of moving, restricted from returning home.
After 18months of lockdowns and uncertainty, I took an opportunity to change sports, and leave Australia: I could still not receive approval to go home to WA.
I took up the Winter Sport of Bobsleigh and within 4 months outperformed all other Australian Brake women and was selected to represent the country at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
Self-confidence; motivation; discipline; consistency; optimism; Acceptance and reflection; the ability to deal with stress; focus; resilience; leadership and most importantly: Passion.
High performance athletes display countless traits that together, make them successful. These traits are also seen across many different areas in the lives of people who experience success. While these traits are innate for some people, thankfully for you, these traits can be instilled and developed without you having to jump in a bobsled!
Alongside my sporting career I have experience and tertiary qualifications in Biology, Mathematics, Secondary teaching, Agile project Management and Modern Psychology.
The human mind and body are capable of extra- ordinary things, and yet limiting beliefs and neural blockages mean so many people only tap into a fraction of their potential.
I am passionate about seeing people un-limit themselves, grow, evolve and live out their own self-determined version of success.
I am not just skilfully trained with powerful tools for personal development and change: I embody it. I live it. The combination of my lived experience and modern Psychology training allows me to create a powerful synergy that helps individuals overcome a wide range of issues and achieve their goals.
Mindset upgrade: Limitless thinking
I look forward to meeting and working with you,
Warmest regards,
It is never too late to resolve whats keeping you stuck and start living the life you truely want, sometimes its just easier with a little help
